GUESS WHAT?????

THE LEAK IS FIXED!!!!!
AFTER ALOT MORE DIGGING THAN ANTICIPATED,
THE LEAKY PIPE WAS DISCOVERED!
THAT WAS LAST SUNDAY(FATHERS DAY)
I CALLED CHASE DOWN TO CONFIRM, THAT INDEED,
I HAD STRUCK GOLD,
SO TO SPEAK.
HE CLIMBED ON IN AND SURE ENOUGH A HOLE IN THE PIPE.AS YOU MIGHT GUESS, WITH A HOLE IN A PIPE THE
WATER LEAKS OUT, INTO THE HOLE.
EVERYONE HAD A PRETTY BUSY WEEK,
SO THE HOLE WAS LEFT TO DRY OUT ON ITS OWN.
THURSDAY CAME ALONG, AND CHASE AND I WENT TO
DOLPHIN POOL TO GET SOME SUPPLIES WHILE
PAPA PETE BABYSAT REID.
THEN CAME THE REPAIR JOB, ONCE AGAIN,
CHASE CLIMBED INTO THE HOLE.FUNNY HOW COMFORTABLE HE LOOKS IN THE HOLE.
WHILE HE WAS DOWN BELOW,
I HANDED HIM THINGS FROM ABOVE.

FROM THE COMFORT OF THE DECK.THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP CHASE YOU ROCK!!!!!
NOW THE AGENDA IS TO GET THE WATER SWIMABLE.
I STARTED WITH THIS LOVELY SHADE OF GREEN,AND HAVE MOVED ON
TO A LIGHTER SHADE OF WHAT I LIKE TO CALL,
MILKY TEAL.

TO THE UNTRAINED EYE,
IT MAY NOT LOOK SO GOOD, BUT TRUST ME,
IT LOOKS GREAT!
THE ONLY THING LEFT TO DO TO FINISH THE PROJECT
IS TO REPLACE THE
DIRT INTO THE HOLE.
ANYONE?????

Diggin' a Hole

The big project for the summer has started at my house.
The pool has a leak in the return pipe. So I had this company called American Leak Detectors come out to tell me where the leaky pipe was located.
$400 later, they find the leak and tell me I need to dig a hole about 3ft deep down to the pipe.
Ok, Chase helped me with cutting the concrete, thanks again,
and I started digging.I dug, and dug, and dug some more. Found some pipes, none where they told me to dig. So, I dug some more..........
Obviously I am getting close to the leak, unfortunatly, it is about 3ft to the left of where they said it was. To finish the job I need to cut another chunk of concrete out, and, you guessed it, DIG SOME MORE!!!!
The patching of the pipe should not be too difficult, and then it will be time to swim.
I will let you know when the pool is open for business!
I will also keep you posted on the digging!

Well hey everyone! I know it has been a long time since I updated this blog, I have been busy lately, and then when I had some time to update I ran into some computer problems. Thanks for the fix up Eric!
Anyway, so what have I been up to...
Obviously work, the not so fun part of life. Memorial day was spent up at Elbow Lake. My job was cleaning up the tree house, making room for more sleeping arrangements. If you make a mess in there you better clean it up. As I threw thing out, Dad wanted to save some of it, NO!!!Lots of room in there now for the cot and moving around. If you can't find something, ask me where it is.
It was a fairly nice weekend up there. A little cool. We managed to get in a little fishing. Caught enough to have with breakfast. YUM!!!
Chase got the outhouse wired, the roof is on, and the color scheme decided. Taking care of that on my next trip up.
Grandma and Grandpa were happy to see us all. Very excited about seeing Reid. At two months old he has already been to the lake 2 times. Boy is he going to love it there. He got to go on his first boat ride, and even practiced driving.One last thing, in cleaning the tree house, I found an item of clothing.

Just wondering if anyone wants to claim them....
